A wine cellar off of the main dining space was added and the house remodeled with new colors, materials and lighting throughout all the spaces.
A custom fire place was created to redesign the hearth area of the family room.
A concept of warm gathering spaces was used to redesign the large inefficient rooms in an upper valley home. The main focal point was the great room which became the principal social space of the house. All new materials, interior and exterior wall construction, custom fireplace, paint colors and furnishings were used in the design of the space.
An entertaining bar area was designed and built in to take advantage of the large space and engage the great room with multiple areas of activity. Bright and warm colors were used to bring scale and proportion to the space.
Rethinking the master bed and bath for maximum efficiency and comfort; the master bedroom is broken into the sleeping quarters and a separate study areas to accommodate the distinct nighttime activities of the couple. In collaboration with DeCo.homes.
